Like all treacherous journeys, my path into the world of instrumental music started simply enough. I'd been asked to compose music for a documentary, and submitted over a dozen short acoustic guitar pieces.
As the film toured across Canada, so did I, playing a live overture before every screening. My relationship with music was being renewed. Since then, I've written several instrumental albums. The Baroque Dancing at the Gates of Loss was my favourite. Mixing those pieces with the joyful play of synths, I created 2024's Reach - and the genre of Electro-Chamber. |
