A dark sky sanctuary is a place where the night sky is protected from light pollution. In the darkness and solitude there is clarity, and in clarity, beauty.
I've got my sights set on Edmonton. The last place I lived was Toronto, where the night sky always blushes red, flustered by the city. Now I'm living in the remote Bella Coola Valley in coastal British Columbia, cut off from everything but the Milky Way. But I've got my sights set on Edmonton.
I'm currently recording an intimate acoustic album of all the songs that would be crowded by drums, synths, and pedals. This album will be their sanctuary, lights low enough to let the stars come out. If you want to hear it when it's ready, please drop me a line below.
I'm also looking to connect with any musicians, singers, or other creatives. Say hi - we'll be neighbours soon.
